Construction Lien Act, Model


The Model Construction Lien Act is intended to replace the "mechanic's Lien" that is found in every jurisdiction. The Act permits contractors, subcontractors, and materials suppliers to attach a lien for the value of unpaid services and materials upon real property improved by those services or materials.
