The Uniform Law Commission’s annual meeting was previously scheduled to convene on July 10, 2020, in Madison, Wisconsin. Due to COVID-19, the meeting will not occur as scheduled. Instead, during the dates previously scheduled for the Madison meeting, the ULC will use an online platform to receive reports, welcome new commissioners, elect life members, and hear the final readings of three acts. The ULC will attempt to meet in person sometime thereafter, perhaps in the fall or early winter, to consider first and interim readings of other acts. Whether an in-person meeting can be held will depend on a number of factors, including the status of the pandemic and government limitations on large-group meetings. The ULC will meet in Wisconsin next year. The 2021 annual meeting will take place July 9-15 in Madison.
