Origin Completed by the Uniform Law Commissioners in 1989. First appeared in Uniform Probate Code in 1969: UPC Article VI, Part 1.
Description This act encourages banks and credit unions to offer POD (pay on death) and agency (convenience) account forms for use by persons desiring some, but not all, incidents of joint accounts.
